About Us

EPIC (Empowering People Initiating Change), the youth wing of Talent Enablers NGO, established in 2014, aims to bring about a social change. Started as a dream of two young souls, now has expanded to a network of more than 200 volunteers across the planet. Our aim is to call out to the young generation to elevate society and be the change they wish to see in the world. The youth acts as the driving force and we channelize the energy and creativity towards a responsible approach to help them become contributing members of the society who understand their own role in nation-building.

Our Story

In 2014, two young individuals looked around and saw problems that adults had accepted as “just the way things are.” They refused to comply. They believed that small, simple efforts could elevate society from distress and suffering. Today, that belief has grown into a movement that spans the entire planet.

These aren’t ordinary young people. They’re the ones who see a problem and ask “What can I do?” instead of “Why doesn’t someone else fix this?” Whether it’s conducting menstrual health workshops in schools, painting educational murals on village walls, leading clean-up drives, mentoring children through after-school learning sessions or using street theatre to spark conversations about gender, EPIC volunteers show up consistently and courageously.

From rescuing animals to replanting forests, from classroom storytelling to breaking menstrual health related taboos, they prove every day that age is no barrier to building a better world.

Our Core Objectives

Youth Empowerment

We channel the boundless energy and creativity of young people toward constructive social action, helping them understand their role in nation-building while developing leadership skills.

Through our programs, we create a pipeline of socially conscious leaders who understand community challenges and can implement sustainable solutions.

Our volunteers work directly with communities, implementing grassroots solutions that address local challenges while building long-term capacity.

Global Impact

Through our collaboration with international organisations like Girl Up, an initiative of the United Nations Foundation, our volunteers contribute to various international sustainable development goals.

EPIC volunteers are provided with opportunities to engage with changemakers from all around the globe, giving them global exposure and opportunities to create impact beyond borders. This connection helps our local efforts contribute to worldwide movements for positive change.

The EPIC Experience

Being part of EPIC goes far beyond just volunteering — it’s a journey of personal discovery and transformation. Many of our members say they came in hoping to make a difference in someone else’s life and left realizing how deeply the experience changed their own.

Through hands-on work in communities, they develop empathy, confidence, leadership, and a sharper understanding of the world around them. They begin to see not just problems but their own power to be part of the solution.

What makes EPIC special is the community it creates — a circle of like-minded, passionate individuals who lift each other up. Friendships turn into collaborations. Projects turn into movements. And somewhere along the way, volunteers stop asking “What can I do?” and start saying “Let’s do this together.”

Global Recognition

We are proud to share that EPIC was awarded Best Girl Up Club by the United Nations Foundation's Girl Up Initiative, a testament to the power of youth-led gender justice and the commitment of our volunteers on the ground.
